DevOps Engineer

Fundiin is the BNPL pioneer and current leader in Vietnam in providing zero-cost buy-now-pay-later facilities, helping retailers increase sales by up to 30%. BNPL is the first step in our mission to accelerate the path to financial freedom for people in Vietnam and, eventually, Southeast Asia.

What you will do:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you are expected to be a strong and self-motivated individual with the ability to independently drive decisions, and execute and deliver medium-complex projects end-to-end without the involvement of other supervisors.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Respond to and resolve incidents related to system and application failures.
• Analyze and optimize system performance and scalability.
• Implement security best practices for DevOps processes and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and tools to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Make sure the infrastructure is scalable and can handle high traffic volume.

• Be smart, hungry, and focused. Eager to learn and able to learn fast
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps
• Experience setting up and managing GCP Managed services such as IAM, VPC, GKE, GCE, Cloud Function, Dataflow, BigQuerry,....
• Experience using Docker and container orchestration, such as Kubernetes
• Experience in scripting (Bash/ Python) and IAC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Deployment Manager.
• Experience with GitLab, ELK, or equivalent technology stack.
• Excellent understanding of security and safety best practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Working experience with Hashicorp stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault)
• Working experience with distributed architecture, GCP hub-spoke architecture.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (behavior-driven development, continuous integration, and delivery, executable documentation)
• Proficiency with OOP and Java.
