Venture building has been described as the next frontier to drive corporate innovation. The DFS Asia team functions like a fast-growing startup within Bayer in order to rapidly develop new business models with the goal of capturing new customers and market segments. We are on a mission to accelerate the digital farming ecosystem across Asia to empower small holder farmers. In order to achieve this vision, we need to put small holder farmers at the centre of our product development and venture building process.
We are currently strengthening the Business Design team to spearhead the human-centred-design approach within DFS Bayer Crop Science, Asia. We are looking for design champions who are passionate about solving some of the biggest problem in the agriculture industry. The Senior Business designer will help our team design value proposition for our digital products and putting small holder farmers and other agriculture stakeholders at the core of what we are building. The role will be based in Vietnam. This is a rare opportunity to work for one of the top Fortune 500 companies while enjoying the experience of a startup environment.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Working with colleagues across Asia to support their Business Design needs
• Facilitate design sprints and workshops with heterogeneous groups of clients and stakeholders
• Support our Venture Leads when it comes to organizing virtual design sprints with wider
• APAC colleagues or running workshops with local colleagues and small holder farmers.
• Recommend Business Design best practice and the right design methodologies.
• To contextualize the demand and help define the need of small holder farmers. This will help to inform our digital product development process.
• To personalize the design approach and elaborate tailor-made specifications to support our ventures located in different countries
• To facilitate the internal Bayer communication to decompartmentalize the services or stakeholders involved in the realization of the project
• Manage user research and Business Design process, drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource, needs and schedules.
• Collaborate with product owners and leaders to drive product strategy and the development roadmap.
• Plan and manage the design research activities (research strategy, ethnographic based user research, secondary research, UX research…) collaboratively with the team.
• Plan and execute system mapping, customer journeys, scenarios and service specifications.
• Analyze research data identifying and generating meaningful insights and behavioral patterns.

Yêu cầu
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in working on a broad range of research and innovation-oriented projects
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. (fluency in English and Vietnamese is a must)
• Experience with high-level stakeholders’ engagement. Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
• Experience with mentoring and elevating other creative people into Business Design thinking.
• Experience in conducting and synthesizing research, insights and findings.
• Experience in structuring and visualizing journey maps, service ideation, concept communication and specification.
• A hands-on Senior Business designer with skills in visual / interaction design as well.
• Excellent portfolio showcasing design solutions and strategic approaches.
• Ability to facilitate workshops, set design sprints and hold seminars and training sessions.
• Knowledge of agile approaches and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences.
• A solid competency in storytelling and public speaking. You are comfortable explaining your ideas to client stakeholders and to ideate the best means to present your conceptual work.
• Attention to details and organizational approach.
• Ability to understand the impact of technology on design deliverables.
