Homeroom Teacher/Giáo Viên Mầm Non

The Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher (HRT) is responsible for overseeing the daily routines, classroom activities, and overall well-being of young learners. This role requires a dedicated, patient, and organized educator who will work closely with foreign teachers to support students in their academic and social development. The HRT ensures a structured, engaging, and safe learning environment while maintaining regular communication with parents. Key Responsibilities
1) Daily Routines & Classroom Management
- Assist with student arrival, ensuring their belongings are properly organized and checked.
- Support students with their personal needs, including restroom breaks, snack time, and lunch.
- Maintain classroom order, ensuring students follow daily routines and schedules.
- Help students develop independence in managing their materials, books, and personal items.
2) Academic Support & Teaching Assistance
- Assist foreign teachers during lessons (Phonics, Language Arts, Reading, Coding, etc.).
- Help students with bookwork, crafts, and other hands-on learning activities.
- Prepare and organize materials for creative activities, puzzles, and number play.
- Supervise and engage students during gym, coding, and playtime.
- Guide students in library book exchanges and literacy activities.
3) Student Supervision & Safety
- Accompany students on the school shuttle bus, ensuring seatbelt safety and orderly behavior.
- Supervise students at all times, including during break time, gym, and meal periods.
- Monitor students' hygiene, making sure they wash hands, brush teeth, and dress properly.
- Ensure a safe and engaging environment, avoiding the use of mobile phones during student supervision.
4) Parent Communication & Documentation
- Write daily reports about students’ activities and updates for parents via Kidsnote.
- Upload student photos and document their progress (every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
- Inform the management team about any incidents, accidents, or concerns regarding students.
5) Other Duties
- Prepare classroom materials and lesson-related resources for the next day.
- Support special events, activities, and student performances.
- Follow instructions from the Head Homeroom Teacher and Management Team as needed.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a kindergarten or early childhood teacher is preferred.
- Experience working with international or bilingual programs is a plus. Skills & Competencies
- Strong classroom management and organization skills.
- Proficiency in English (for communication with foreign teachers and communication with Korean parents in English).
- Ability to work collaboratively with foreign teachers and school staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
