The Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data across VinFast’s systems and processes. This role will involve collaborating with various business functions, data governance teams, and IT to define data standards, streamline data processes, and drive continuous improvement in our MDM practices.
Key Responsibilities
Data Governance:
• Maintain and enforce data governance standards, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality master data
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and standards for various business domains such as product, supplier, customer, and financial data
Data Quality Management:
• Monitor data quality and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that master data is consistent, accurate, and up-to-date
• Perform data cleansing activities to address data integrity issues and remove duplicates
MDM System Administration:
• Oversee the MDM system (such as SAP, Oracle, or other MDM platforms) to manage the lifecycle of master data
• Configure, maintain, and optimize MDM workflows and processes to improve data governance efficiency
Data Integration & Reporting:
• Work with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of master data across systems and platforms
• Create and manage reports and dashboards to monitor data quality and integrity
Collaboration & Training:
• Partner with business units to understand their data needs and provide support for the creation, modification, and maintenance of master data
• Provide training and support to business users on best practices in data management and MDM tools

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
• 3+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality roles, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry
• Hands-on experience with MDM tools (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica, Oracle MDM)
• Solid understanding of data management principles and best practices
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve data issues
• Familiarity with integration tools and data modeling
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of database management systems and data reporting tools
