• Preparing documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
• Working with Engineers and experienced Technology Consultants
• Prepare modelling work within established project time constraints
• Facilitate the training of other company drafting resources
• Undertake CAD project documentation and coordination.
• Prepare technical specifications and drawings including drafting of schematic drawings.
• Proactively collaborate with staff during the design process (using MS Teams and Zoom)
• Comply with the requirements of the QA Manual.
• Prepare .pdf mark-ups on floor plan layouts with power and data relevant to AV/IT equipment
and systems as part of the design.
• Enter project tasks and resource hours into project management system
• Assist with preparing and maintaining standard CAD templates for projects
• Check supplier submissions for compliance with our designs
Yêu cầu
• 2 – 3+ years’ experience using AutoCAD/Revit
• Understanding of BIM drafting techniques
• An interest in technology system design and drafting
• A desire to learn basic technology design principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within teams
• Clear written and oral communication skills in English.
• AutoCAD drafting experience is mandatory.
• Revit drafting experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency using Visio for the preparation of schematics of standard AV systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Basic setup/formatting of project templates such as budgets & equipment lists in MS Excel
• At least 1 - 2 years design and/or CAD Revit experience in the IT, Engineering or Telecommunications Industry.
• Ability to prepare technical system schematics for AV services.
• Ability to prepare draft technical reports and specifications for Consultant review.
• Experience working in a team environment.
