Trách nhiệm

A. Role overview
The Academic Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Academic Department and the general operations of the school. This includes a wide range of duties such as:
  • Assessing students' progress and ensuring the best learning outcomes.
  • Providing educational leadership to guide and support teachers.
  • Developing existing courseware and creating new programs to keep the curriculum up-to-date.
  • Managing quality assurance and professional development to maintain high standards.
  • Overseeing staffing, team building, and human resources management within RISE.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Ensuring that students receive the best outcomes, services, and guidance.
The role requires hands-on management and a strong sense of ownership over the academic and operational success of the school. The Academic Manager must possess strong leadership skills to build and manage the teaching staff, keep the school operating smoothly, and ensure high levels of student learning and teacher satisfaction.
B. Overall responsibilities
  • Ensure high teaching quality and the effective implementation of academic activities in the center, aligning with RISE’s strategic objectives.
  • Oversee and improve the teaching process, assess the teaching effectiveness of instructors, and develop training programs.
  • Be accountable for students' learning outcomes and ensure all learning objectives are met.
  • Manage and develop the teaching team, ensuring consistency in teaching methods and providing regular professional development.
  • Develop and implement new programs, adjusting teaching materials to meet student needs and modern educational trends.
  • Ensure all academic policies are followed and updated regularly to meet the center’s goals and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize center operations, including organizing demo classes and student recruitment events.
  • Monitor and ensure all academic activities are focused on enhancing student learning experiences while increasing student retention rates.

Yêu cầu

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree with English as a major.
  • Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA/ CertTESOL).
  • Certificate in English Language Teaching – Primary (CELT-P).
  • Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL).
  • Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
  • A minimum of five years teaching experience or training in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated and dedicated with a focus on professional growth.
  • High level of responsibility and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Passion for education and a love for working with children.
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly process-oriented.
  • Ability to meet deadlines regularly and proactively identify potential risks.
  • Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and management.
