Data Engineer

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems to support our business intelligence and analytics needs. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other teams to ensure that our data infrastructure is robust, efficient, and reliable
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data
Develop and maintain data architectures, including databases, warehouses, and data lakes
Ensure the integrity and quality of data through robust validation and monitoring processes
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to provide data for reporting and analytics
Work with large, complex datasets, and implement best practices for data governance and security
Automate workflows and processes to improve data pipeline efficiency
Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering to recommend and implement improvements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 1 year of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
Experience in handling large-scale datasets and building high-performance data pipelines.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or SQL
Experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica)
Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services
Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy best practice
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results
TOEIC score: ≥650 or an equivalent level of English proficiency
