Freight Forwarding Manager

Manage shipping and delivery processes of goods in the most efficient and effective manner and maintain internal Balanced Scorecard measurements effectiveness to plan.
Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost
Develop and maintain relationship with various carriers, agents and vendors
Negotiating contracts, transportation costs, and handling charges with carriers and agents
Pricing and solution for existing and new opportunities.
Address and resolve any issues or customer complaints, related to the freight forwarding process.
Attend to internal financial reports (as required) and business planning process
Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws related to international and domestic trade
Managing performance of staff and adherence to freight process, and customized customer SOP
Stay current with market changes in freight forwarding and shipping regulations.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field
Minimum 5 years work experience in freight forwarding or a similar role
Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
Good computer and English skills
Strong analytical, organization and planning skill
